Each December, a quiet corner of AdventHealth Parker Hospital turns into something special. Hallways become aisles. Tables fill with gifts. For one day, families walk through a space built on care, kindness, and choice.
On Tuesday, December 9, Cardel Homes was proud to support the AdventHealth Parker Christmas Store, an annual volunteer-run charity event alongside New Day Adventist Church. The goal is simple. Give children in need the chance to choose gifts for themselves and their families.
The Christmas Store supports hundreds of Douglas County families each year. Instead of handing out pre-selected items, the program creates a true shopping experience. Children walk through and choose gifts they feel proud to give. Parents see their kids take part in a moment of dignity and joy during a season that brings added pressure for many households.
At Cardel Homes, we focus on more than the homes we build. Strong neighborhoods take shape when people support one another, and events like the AdventHealth Parker Christmas Store help bring that spirit to life.
Giving back does not have to feel complicated. It starts with showing up and standing behind organizations that serve local families year after year.
We would like to thank the volunteers, AdventHealth Parker Hospital, and New Day Adventist Church for the work they do each holiday season. Their efforts help make the season brighter for families across Douglas County.
