This holiday season, we’re supporting Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids through a community snack drive. It’s a small gesture that can make a big difference for students who rely on school lunches.
Each day, BB4CK prepares thousands of meals for kids in Calgary. A healthy snack gives them the fuel to stay engaged and learn.
Your support can make that possible.
BB4CK prepares and delivers lunches to schools across Calgary. The program supports thousands of students each day. A steady supply of school-friendly snacks helps the volunteers pack balanced lunches, and it gives teachers one less thing to worry about. When kids have the food they need, they have a better chance at staying engaged and feeling ready to learn.
Cardel has supported local families for decades. Building homes in Calgary means staying connected to the needs of our community. A snack drive gives everyone a chance to pitch in and make a direct impact.
• Dates: November 10 to December 12, 2025
• Location: Cardel Theatre, 180 Quarry Park Blvd SE
• What to Donate: School-friendly snacks from the approved list
Every donation helps. A single box of granola bars, apple sauce cups, or crackers adds up when our whole community takes part.
If you live or work near Quarry Park, drop off approved snacks at the Cardel Theatre during the collection period. Families visiting the area for events or showhome tours are welcome to participate. Your support helps BB4CK keep its shelves stocked during the busy winter season.
If you want to learn more about BB4CK, their website shares volunteer stories and updates on lunch programs across the city.
We build homes for Calgary families, and we stay connected to the neighbourhoods around us. Helping with a snack drive is a small way to lift up local kids and the people who support them each day. Thank you for taking part and helping this effort grow.
